OUTLANDER!

Saw the preview last Saturday and reviewed it for Wednesday. I forgot to put this in earlier so I am adding this Sunday morning but  this really was a big deal for me. I’m not a fangirl type (Yes I did have an Aragorn screensaver for years, but c’mon, Aragorn.) so this is a deeper level of satisfaction in seeing something I have been reading for almost twenty years develop through another medium.

I think I am recovered from the Coxsackie Virus I picked up.  I did attend my workshop, careful not to infect others.  It was rather unpleasant to have the Coxsackie blisters all over my hands and wear nitrile gloves for painting in the workshop I attended.  It was a floral painting workshop at our local art college — they have an excellent, but expensive, continuing studies program I have been attending since the mid 1990s. I did take about 6 years off however as I pursued other activities.
There were 15 of us in the class, all over forty. The teacher was a member of the regular staff so really knew what he was doing.

I really enjoyed it although I wish I had had more energy.

Here are the three paintings I produced. The last, on the far right,  is all flowers from my yard and I am still working on it.

And here is a shot of the one on the far left before I finished with it.  I may not yet be finished with it.

So what else did I do this week?   I had six posts between last Sunday and today. I did not create the graphics for two guest posts I had here – both with giveaways! But the remaining graphics were composites I made

What do you want to see at the top; what helps you know if it is a book you want to read about?
