What Do You Do On A Sunday Afternoon?

Sorry this was so late, I spent the day in the ER with my mom. She had a stomach virus and passed out. Not fun.

Kimba The Sunday Post

Millions long for immortality who don’t know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.Susan Ertz  www.brainyquote.com

I was looking for a title for this week and came upon the above quote.  It seems to have a lot to do with real life, but also with the paranormal fiction side of this blog. Because, a lot of immortality goes into paranormal fiction.

Sometimes I read less paranormal romance and urban fantasy, but it is where Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust got its start.  And, I definitely know what to do on a Sunday afternoon.

The rest of the week too!

This past week started off with a New Adult Romance MISUNDERSTANDINGS by Tiffany King on Monday.

TUESDAY was a special day as I reviewed Laura Kaye’s new Hard Ink novella HARD TO HOLD ON TO (She”ll be back tomorrow, August 25th with an interview)!

Wednesday was a Triple Recap and Review Session for OUTLANDER (S1, E2 Castle Leoch) TRUE BLOODS’s Penultimate Episode, and a new MASTERS OF SEX.

Thursday I looked at THE OPPOSITE OF MAYBE by Maddie Dawson.

Lara Adrian has re-issued quite a few Historical Romances and I snagged an audiobook for one LORD OF VENGEANCE written as Tina St. John.

Saturday I do my own Reissue with a new Saturday Feature “Review Redux.” This week I look at the first Laura Kaye book I read: FOREVER FREED.

Next Week:

Tomorrow, Monday, August 25, Laura Kaye will stop in and respond to some interview questions I sent her as part of the book tour for HARD TO HOLD ON TO.

Tuesday I will recap, review, and most likely rant about TRUE BLOOD. I will also write about OUTLANDER and MASTERS OF SEX (or not – it may not be on tonight). Because it is the END of TRUE BLOOD I will probably spend a  lot of time there.

Wednesday will be an audiobook review for  CRAVE THE NIGHT, by Lara Adrian. What’s weird about this one is that it is a completely different publisher and service than the Lara Adrian/Tina St. John book I looked at last Friday.

Thursday is scheduled for  a review of Maya Bank’s GIVING IN.

Friday is still up for grabs, and for Saturday, unless readers profess abject hatred for it I will post another Review Redux. I will try to make it a relevant choice, Last Saturday I looked at a Laura Kaye book again because I had talked about her Tuesday and would have her back again on Monday.

I am finding that more and more icons I have made before fit what I am reading but here’s what I made for HARD TO HOLD ON TO:

I will leave you with this quote from author/screenwriter Diablo Cody which seems apt for my life!:

There’s something magical about spending a Sunday night watching real people at a deli, then watching fake people pretending to be real on TV, then engaging in (arguably) false interaction with (arguably) real people on the Internet. Never at any prior point in time has this been possible.
