Today my guest blogger is Roni Loren who has come by to help us all pack a bag for a weekend at The Ranch, the exclusive BDSM retreat her characters frequent. The Ranch is luxurious, it’s exclusive and like any trip you need to know what to bring. You’ll notice there are no little black dresses involved!
Roni is cyber touring FOREVER STARTS TONIGHT, a new book in the LOVING ON THE EDGE series recently released via Penguin’s Intermix imprint (e-book, 127 pages, 9/16/2014). There’s a fabulous tourwide giveaway on offer as well, keep scrolling down after Roni’s post!
The wait is over. They fell in love in Melt Into You, but that was only the beginning. Now New York Times bestselling author Roni Loren dials up the passion as three lovers reinvent the meaning of togetherness and find out if love is truly enough…
Two dominant men, one beautiful woman. Jace Austin knows he doesn’t have what you’d call a conventional relationship with Evan and Andre, but it works. Boy, does it work—until Evan starts acting strangely and Andre’s ex-fiancée pops back into his life, unbalancing a perfectly happy threesome. Jace is forced to face the unthinkable: that the two people he cares most about in this world are in danger of slipping away from him.
So Jace plans a surprise getaway to a secluded mountain cabin for the three of them. And he knows exactly what he needs to do: give both his lovers a fantasy week they’ll never forget. And the possibilities for pleasure are endless. But when they get snowed in and the heat between them reaches a fever pitch, secrets come out. And Evan has one that could change all their lives forever.
Top five things for a Sub to take to a weekend at “The Ranch”
By Roni Loren
- A really hot dom – All right, so you can meet one there but won’t it be so much better to have your very own? Or in the case of the current story, two hot doms?
- An open mind –The Ranch can be overwhelming. But the best way to find out if it’s for you is to keep an open mind and try some things you’ve only fantasized about. Just say “Yes, sir” to that hot dom of yours and see what kind of kinky fun he gets you into.
- A week off – Let’s be honest, once you’re there, a weekend probably won’t be enough.
- A safe word – Because everyone needs a parachute cord just in case.
- Carbs – Believe me, you’re going to need to keep up your energy if the doms at The Ranch have their way. 😉 Bring muffins.
And though Jace, Evangeline, and Andre end up at a mountain cabin in Forever Starts Tonight instead of the The Ranch. I can tell you what they made sure to have at their disposal:
- Lots of lube – because…reasons
- A rubber whip
- A shower room complete with restraints, benches, and room for three
- A nice stock of sex toys from Jace’s store
- A big surprise for Evan
Anyone want to join them on their vacation? 😉
Readers: What would be your one must have item if you planned your ultimate sexy (and/or romantic) getaway?
THANKS RONI!! This sounds as hot as the other books in the series!

Roni wrote her first romance novel at age fifteen when she discovered writing about boys was way easier than actually talking to them. Since then, her flirting skills haven’t improved, but she likes to think her storytelling ability has. Though she’ll forever be a New Orleans girl at heart, she now lives in Dallas with her husband and son.
If she’s not working on her latest sexy story, you can find her reading, watching reality television, or indulging in her unhealthy addiction to rockstars, er, rock concerts. Yeah, that’s it. She is the National Bestselling Author of The Loving on the Edge series from Berkley Heat.

Evan pulled her robe around her, rubbing the chill from her arms, and walked to the kitchen, hoping to God that they had antacids tucked away somewhere. But when she stepped through the doorway, she froze in place at the sight before her. Jace was leaning back against the counter, shaggy blond hair in his eyes, pants around his ankles, and Andre was kneeling in front of him, sucking him off and stroking him with his fingers.
The sight took the wind right out of her, and she put her hand to the doorframe, steadying herself. Holy hell, were they a picture. She’d lived with these two for almost a year and the sight of them could still take her breath away. Jace with that long, lean swimmer’s body, his tattooed arms straining with the effort of staving off the release Andre was surely about to give him. And Andre with his dark hair, caramel-colored skin, and soulful eyes, somehow looking more alpha than most of the male population even when on his knees for another guy. They were beautiful together.
And maybe she should care that they were doing this without her, but somehow that jealousy never seemed to take hold of her. She knew how long it had taken these two to admit their feelings for each other, knew how deep their love and respect for each other ran. So beyond the mind-melting desire that always went through her when she saw these two get naked together, all she felt was happiness for them and a thrill that she got to be part of this. That they were hers.
Normally, she’d make her presence known because, without a doubt, they would draw her into the tableau. In thirty seconds, she’d be flat on her back on that island with both of them lavishing her with erotic attention. But she was still feeling off and didn’t think she could handle them at the moment. That did not mean, however, that she wasn’t going to take advantage of the moment and watch.
That chill she’d been fighting off on the walk to the kitchen had definitely disappeared, and her body was growing very aware, very quickly. She tried to ease back into the shadows of the living room so she wouldn’t inadvertently interrupt, but Andre’s eyes must’ve caught movement. His gaze swung her way and his eyebrow lifted—an invitation.
