I don’t celebrate Christmas as a religious event, but culturally I like the idea of celebrating both giving and compassion; as if the darkest time of the year to serves to remind us of the brightest parts of our humanity.
Most winter holidays celebrate seem to celebrate these ideas, as well as the plenty of harvest, the promise of spring and the turning of the wheel. Recognizing love, compassion, the changes of the seasons, the wonder of life is always a good thing. It is easy to find public domain images for Christmas, but not so much images for other winter celebrations — I only found one for Hannukah, Kwanza and the Winter Solstice (in the Northern hemisphere).
WHATEVER YOU CELEBRATE TODAY OR THIS SEASON I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST OF ALL THE SEASON OFFERS!
Peace and Goodwill!
The Christmas Mammoth is the weirdest card I have ever seen! It seems to compare women to wooly mammoths. I don’t get it!
