Each week on the blog I look forward and back with my friend KIMBA, THE CAFFEINATED BOOK REVIEWER!
Oh man it’s “wicked” cold here and I was just thinking about this song and wish it were a heatwave here in Maine. Sorry for the video condition; I couldn’t find anything better.
You may have noticed the northeastern quadrant of the US (and probably Canada) got slammed by a small blizzard thing Tuesday and we got more snow Friday. I wrote this early; the power could have gone out — and stayed out — for days. Fortunately it did not, and for that I am very glad.
Here’s my blog last Week:
Monday: A BREATH OF SNOW AND ASHES: Family, Fidelity, Freedom and Fear
Monday – Tuesday: Snowmageddon Sticky Post
Tuesday: IT’S A HAIRY HISTORY THING
Wednesday: BOUND BY FLAMES: Fizzy or Fizzled? WITH GIVEAWAY
Thursday: January Reading and Blogging Tally
Friday: Favorite Audio Books of 2014
Saturday is my Day Off!
There were tons of graphics for the “Hairstory post.” Is the archive presented by paintings throughout the common era a good indicator of whether women were bare, down there?
I made some new banners and icons:
MONDAY the CLICHE KLATCH CHALLENGE begins and
TUESDAY: HOPE BURNS by Jaci Burton
Wednesday and Thursday Probably ONLY ENCHANTING by Mary Balogh
FRIDAY SHARE THE LOVE GIVEAWAY HOP
I haven’t really gone anywhere online that hasn’t involved work but this one newish blogger has a great post on “confessions” I may have to steal this idea. http://thatfirstline.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/confessions.html
I didn’t know confession posts were all over the internet. But this one is cute and amusing.
Today is Superbowl Sunday and the teams are the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. We live in New England so the Superbowl has been all powerful here this week. During last week’s blizzard the biggest story was that the Patriotss left for AZ before the storm caused all air traffic to come to a screeching halt.
I found this sweet ad wherein an older cat tries to explain a Superbowl party to the kitten. Enjoy. I hop you enjoy the day. I plan to read a lot today.
