Each week on the blog I look forward and back with my friend KIMBA, THE CAFFEINATED BOOK REVIEWER!
Sadly, Spring isn’t here; I think it moved and left no forwarding address. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a strong desire to experience spring! We do seem to be off the big storm pattern (although other places have picked it up big time), but normally expect at least one more whopper. It’s usually on or around my husband’s birthday — if we make any plans. On his 40th birthday three couples had accidents on the way to the party. One was his boss.
I would like spring to come; it should consider itself invited for an extended stay. I am very sick of seeing white ground and grey skies. Fortunately several of my orchids have bloomed this winter and that adds some color.
In Maine, we say we have Winter, Mud Season, Road Construction and Fall.
So I was looking for something themed on spring and none of my songs worked. I did come across this video of Things Disney Princesses Do That’d be Awkward if You Did Them. This from Buzzfeed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oVKsnvGtOE)
Last week on the blog was fabulous!
I looked the month of February – I wanted to look back on everything I had done this past month – I felt like I had grown a lot this month.
I loved being part of the Chloe Neill Tour. There is a Review, Interview and Giveaway.
Now that I am looking at more genres I have cracked the spine on some literary fiction and looked at NICK HORNBY’s FUNNY GIRL.
I talked about how audiobooks can help you make time for reading. I enjoyed writing this.
I recently rejoined my book club (that expanded genres thing) and I read THE INVENTION OF WINGS by Sue Monk Kidd.
Graphics for the past week (I used the tour banner for the DARK DEBT TOUR but included covers for the other books in the series):
Next Week and Beyond… Reviews: Monday: SIN OF DECEPTION by Isabella Bradford
Tuesday: Pebbled Without a Cause: Sexy Clichés
WEDNESDAY: Review and tour: BLOOD LEGACY by CJ Ellisson.
Thursday: QUARTERBACK DRAW(GIVEAWAY) by Jaci Burton,
Friday: LIZZY & JANE (Audiobook) by Katherine Reay
I usually take off Saturday just posting a notice that I will be back, but Sunday and Monday, March 15 and 16, I will be doing a reduced schedule too as I will not have a lot of time or access to my computer, so I will be posting something different; just pictures or a saying, maybe a shot of where I am — I’m undecided about how to handle it. I will be absent from this very lovely forum next week. Which means I won’t be able to tell you what’s coming up the next week.
I will be announcing my 5th Bloggiversary when I get back though. I am working on a super duper giveaway!
I hope you will come by when I get back – I haven’t ever taken more than one day off per week since I began blogging. But, it is my husband’s birthday, we’ll be busy, and I want to give this very special man the attention he deserves!
