The Sunday Post: Finally! She is Here!

This week, I once again, participate in THE SUNDAY POST from The Caffeinated Reviewer. I have found this a great way to meet other bloggers and to keep track of what I have going on. I hope you’ll check out THE CAFFEINATED REVIEWER ‘s weekly event – there are so many great blogs participating.

Kimba The Sunday Post

Finally!  The weather has turned the corner and I believe we have pulled out of what was the worst winter in my memory.  Now, I grew up in Albany, NY so I have seen some horrible winters! So when I say this was the worst winter I mean it was truly awful.

But, enough of that, Spring is showing her beautiful face again; the 9 bazillion Daffodils I planted last fall have begun to show themselves and I feel so much happier for having seen that yesterday when I pulled the winter covers off the new flower bed.

A friend of mine turned me on to this local performer, Spencer Albee, who’s about  to hit the big time!

Last week I got a couple of print books in:
The new Katie MacAlister A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT ROMP, and
a paperback of  THE WITCH WITH NO NAME by Kim Harrison.

On my way out of town the other week, immediately after I finished listening to the audiobook copy, I received a hardcover copy of THE SHADOWS. I will eventually put it in a giveaway but not with this week’s review.

I got E-ARCs of Caroline Linden’s LOVE IN THE TIME OF SCANDAL,  and ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND SCANDAL last week as well.

I won an Allison Tyler book bundle giveaway from KissinBlueKaren.com  — I hadn’t won anything in a while so it was a lift! Can’t wait until they arrive!

Last Week on the Blog!

Mina Vaughan came by with a guest post that puts you on top in the bedroom without using a riding crop!
I recapped Episode 110 of Outlander, “By the Pricking of My Thumbs.”
A review and giveaway of BLACK WIDOW by Jennifer Estep.
A Review, Excerpt and tour post for Laura Kaye’s new novella HARD TO BE GOOD (Hard Ink series)
I look at what book trend I am “So Over:” Billionaires!

Saturday I take off!

Graphically speaking:

Coming Up This Week:

MONDAY: One of my very favorite guests, Suzanne Johnson will be by with a post about Fairies and the newest book in her Sentinels of New Orleans series, PIRATE’S ALLEY! It includes an excerpt and a tourwide giveaway!
TUESDAY: OUTLANDER #111 Recap (moves to Mondays after this week)
WEDNESDAY: Say Yes to the Marquess: How’s This Going to Work Out? (Review)
THURSDAY: J.R. Ward’s THE SHADOWS Rips Your Guts Out (Audiobook Review)
FRIDAY: HOME TO YOU  by Robin Kaye, Fun in the Snow!

And then I will be right back here on Sunday.

Coming Up Soonish but Not This Week
I am working on a ton of reviews and posts for the week after this:
Historical Outerwear of the Georgian and Regency period and Reviews of Royally Ever After, Miranda Neville’s THE DUKE OF DARK DESIRES, LICK by Kylie Scott, Euphoria by Maine author Lily King, and THE MASTER by Kresley Cole.

Question MarkListening:
I am having HUGE issues with one publisher’s Audio-ARC downloads so I am a little short of things to listen to.  I may need to buy an audio book and wonder if anyone has suggestions for longer audio books?  I like long (Audio) books and I cannot lie!  If I am paying for it I want it to be worth it!
