Kimba The Sunday Post

While you have to love Manhattan for the sheer variety of stuff available, food, museums, and people watching, the heat, the crowds and the basic brusqueness of people on the street take me It’s always great to get home!  They say the Chinese have a curse, “May you live in interesting times.”  I am glad to be out from under that for the moment and to have my summer returning to normal.

Here’s what happened on my blog this past week.  I thought I might explain my rationale for the images I used. For Friday I used an image I use for each round up so I did not show it here.

MONDAY: BEAUTY AND THE BILLIONAIRE by Jessica Clare: Hot Cursed Beast

I chose to use a variety of Beauty & the Beast images, gold bars and roses.

TUESDAY: Shana Galen’s EARLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN has a Serious Side

In this novel the area of London where Marlowe lived is talked about, but it is hard to imagine that kind of misery in London so I found a depiction of the area.

Otherwise Occupied:

At RWA I got some free book cards for THE EARL’S DEFIANT WALLFLOWER I would like to share with some lucky readers from ERICA RIDLEY:

THE EARL'S DEFIANT WALLFLOWER CARDS Oliver York returns from war to find his father dead, his finances in arrears, and himself the new Earl of Carlisle. If he doesn’t marry an heiress—and fast!—he and his tenants are going to be pitching tents down by the Thames. He definitely shouldn’t be trading kisses with a penniless debutante… no matter how captivating she is!

Miss Grace Halton is in England just long enough to satisfy the terms of her dowry. But a marriage of convenience isn’t as easy as she’d hoped. Back in America, her ailing mother needs medicine only Grace’s dowry can afford. Which means the dashing earl she can’t get out of her mind is the one man she can’t let into her heart. http://www.ericaridley.com/books/dukes-of-war-series/the-earls-defiant-wallflower/

There’s a URL on the back and a QR code  and while these were handed out pretty much willy nilly  I have blocked the code out because it is not freely available through the author’s website.  I will just email the four winners the URL.
