I have done a lot of blogging these past six years but never thought my blog would make it into a documentary even for the 3 seconds it pops up in LOVE BETWEEN THE COVERS.
Review – Other than Written Word
An English murder mystery set in the Regency on a post Pride and Prejudice framework. I listened to the audiobook and watched the mini-series.
Claire, Murtagh et al. stage a daring rescue of Jamie before he can be hanged. But, is it too late to save him from the tortures of Black Jack Randall? This is a recap, which means it is filled to the brim with spoilers. I also make a few comments on this absorbing and important episode.
In the second to last episode this season, the TV Show presents the last part of the first book in Diana Gabaldon’s series. Jamie is in Wentworth prison and about to be hanged as Claire and Jamie’s kinsmen try desperately to save him.
The Redcoats have Jamie. Jenny and Claire set off to find him. I think it is amazing that two women are shown as using traditional male skills so well! SPOILERS!
Jamie and Claire face threats from his past and the Scottish “Watch.” Jenny goes into Labour.
Really the title could have easily been “The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.” The “Pricking of the Thumbs” bit is from MacBeth, AKA, The Scottish Play.
OUTLANDER Made a great return on Saturday with an episode told in Jamie’s voice. In the last episode, Claire was taken by the British and in the vile hands of Jamie’s nemesis, Jack Randall. In the last scene last year, Jamie bursts in and tells Randall that he’ll thank him for taking his hands off his wife.
I’ve seen a few movies these past few months: THE INTERVIEW, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 3, MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT. Would I watch them in the theater or wait until Pay-per-View? How about you?
In this episode oxymoronically called a Mid-Season Finale, Claire and Jamie enjoy each other a little too much, Claire meets the Wizard, taps her feet three times, and ends up,….?
SPOILERS! because recap.
